CricketMX.com take the series to a deciding final match, after a comprehensive victory over Fishlipps.no-ip.org at the WACA ground. It was the first time an ODI had been played at the WACA.

nesman fell 12 short of his century, while battye made no mistake, and earned 101 runs, a man of the match effort, in a series which keeps getting better for the captain. He has 227 runs against Fishlipps.no-ip.org, and is averging 113.5 after several not outs. grinch2171 chipped in with 35, and wanabe ended with 19 not out. weiss2727, Kille and Wackaloony all took 1 wicket each, in a performance which will not be remembered well by the bowlers.
After a shake up in the batting lineup, the players looked confused in their new positions, with sonic1, essa and cochise1 all falling between 10 and 13. The middle order provided some resistance, with 35, 25, 39 and 55 from djay6, pokesthelippyfish, gidget and shazzziam respectively. However, the game had been lost by the top order.
The lower order, trying desperately to retain the bonus point, were just able to, thanks to performances in the twenties by weiss2727 and river_mouse.
tunebud and p2p-sharing-rules did the most damage, with 4 wickets each. Freezmizer was economical with his 7 overs, with 2/39.
The teams will meet again on Monday, for the 5th and final ODI, the deciding match with the series at 2-2. |
