Zcultfm.com won the toss and elected to field, in their first Test match encounter with Sitepoint.com.

Off to a slow start, Sitepoint.com made just 24 runs in the first 10 overs, but it was when Chameleongirl came on to bowl, that things took a turn for the worse. DigitaL was the first man out, caught leg before for just 10 runs.

Arguably Sitepoint.com's best Test batsman, Nicky came to the crease, and departed not long after, the second lbw victim, for 5.

At 2/44, SlitheryImp and Heman maximus took it upon themselves to slow the match down. The two managed to stick around for almost 20 overs, before Chameleongirl clean bowled Heman maximus, for a 60 ball 19.

iTechno made just 1 before being caught off the bowling of Finnie.

At 4/112, the team was in a spot of bother. Losing SlitheryImp for 77, 5 balls later, did not help.

Cronweb and HAWK, both on their First Class and Test debut, were the last specialist batsmen. HAWK stayed at the crease for the best part of 10 overs, scoring 24 runs in the process.

kiviniar, also on First Class and Test debut, fell for a 4 ball duck. fisherboy added 3, while bcr, and khuldun, the final debutant, also failed to trouble the scorers.

Cronweb built a score of 16 not out. Zog was the pick of the bowlers, with 3/45. Ace, Finnie and Chameleongirl got 2 each, while Cleetus managed 1/21 from his 9 overs.

Sitepoint.com were all out for 155 after 52 overs.

Zcultfm.com got off to a great start, albeit a slow one. Finnie stayed at the crease until the 15th over, blitzing 38 runs at better than a run a ball. Beef, and the new batsman, KingScott, took a more subdued approach.

Beef eventually fell for 24, from 72 deliveries, while KingScott went on to make 35 from 69. Serj, the captain, also made 24 before his bails were dislodged by Sitepoint.com's wicket keeper captain, HAWK.

Chameleongirl and jakeolsen caused their fair share of problems for Sitepoint.com, putting on a fourth wicket partnership of nearly 90 runs.

kiviniar got the breakthrough, having jakeolsen caught behind, 2 runs from his half century. Aussie500 added just 3 runs.

bcr, and allrounder Cronweb, ripped through the lower order, taking 2 wickets each.

Cronweb ended with the impressive figures of 2/8, while bcr ended with 2/82. kiviniar was the standout performer, with 4/82. Zcultfm.com scored 260 from just over 90 overs.

There was more to brag about in Sitepoint.com's second innings, with two of their batsmen scoring half centuries, and their first nine batsmen making it into double figures.

SlitheryImp didn't back up his solid 1st innings performance, making just 12, but DigitaL made 40, which might just be enough to allow him to hold on to his spot for the 2nd Test.

Nicky was impressive, with 61, her third half-century from four Test innings. Heman maximus was useful too, with 37.

iTechno's bad run of form continued, with just 14 runs. With his spot in the team in doubt for the next Test, he will be hoping his amount of experience in the team will give him one more chance.

Cronweb showed the simulation cricket world, that he was prepared to become the competition's leading allrounder, with a fine 51, bringing his Test average to 67.0.

HAWK added 15, while kiviniar and fisherboy made 23 and 18 respectively. bcr remained unbeaten on 6, while khuldun added 7 before being caught behind.

After 100 overs, Sitepoint.com were all out for 284, a significant increase on their 1st innings score, but it only gave Zcultfm.com a target of 180 for victory.

All of the bowlers chipped in, but it was Zog, with 4/77, who really cashed in. Ace took 3, while KingTigerII took 2, and Cleetus 1.

Needing early wickets, khuldun struck in the 5th over, having Finnie stumped for just 5. The next wicket didn't fall for 104 runs, 32 overs later. It was that of Beef, for 62, when he was out lbw from the bowling of fisherboy.

Serj then came to the crease, to play second fiddle to KingScott, who was hoping to post his first Test century.

Serj tried to get the strike over the KingScott when possible, but in the end, KingScott was stranded on 90 not out, and Serj on 23 not out, as the Zcultfm.com XI celebrated their first Test victory.

Zcultfm.com won by 8 wickets, giving them a lead of 1 match in this 2 Test series. For his match figures of 7/123, Zog won the man of the match award.
