The countdown to the long awaited Bye Week Series, between and, has officially started, with less than 48 hours remaining before the first ball is balled. and are the two oldest rivals in simulation cricket, and also the two oldest teams in the competition. are a "good" team, ranked 3rd in the world (1.52) for ODI's. Coming off a Test series win against former member, one would expect them to dominate against's last ODI encounter wasn't such a memorable one however, losing to the world champions, 2-3.

This will be's first taste of Test match cricket. They will be hoping for more success in the longer version of the game than they have in the limited overs arena. are ranked 2nd last (1.29) in the official SCA ODI rankings. They, along with (1.20), are the minnows of simulation cricket. There is quite a gap between & HHQ and the next website,, with a ranking of 1.40. last played, in the tri-series between themselves, and; and the results were nothing to brag about. Winning just 1 of their 4 tri-series matches, they do not go into this upcoming series as favourites.

There is only one thing that we can expect for sure. Both captains, and both teams, will be hard at it from the word go. We are in for 2 weeks of action packed cricket.
