On December 4th, CricketMX.com will begin their first official domestic season.

CricketMX.com's previous domestic structure consisted of three teams, the Old, Traditional and New Cricketmxian's. In fact, the New Cricketmxian's even played a 3 day match as well as a Twenty20 against BalladP2P.com.

However, the teams were dissolved, as the Old Cricketmxian's had a clear advantage over the other teams, with such a large player base.

The new teams, CricketMX Blue and CricketMX Orange, to represent the two colours of the official CricketMX.com pen, are much more evenly balanced.

CricketMX Blue ("Blue") captained by moongirl, boasts 7 players with experience playing at the top level for CricketMX.com. The team is also strengthened with the inclusion of Fishlipps.no-ip.org captain, pokesthelippyfish.

Blue has the ODI opening combination of garmabeaneth (ODI average of 42.29) and nesman (35.77). dr sad (30.87) who has been in and out of CricketMX.com's one day side, is likely to bat at third. moongirl (23.63), pokesthelippyfish (25.00) and newcomer hockeyjock686 are the other batsman, while krb107 (18.62) will be the teams wicket keeper.

p2p-sharing-rules and tunebud are the teams experienced bowlers, while squirrel_king and Toy will make their First Class debuts on Monday the 4th.

Blue has a lot of leadership experience. moongirl can turn to either pokesthelippyfish, captain of Fishlipps.no-ip.org (6 wins, 4 losses), or garmabeaneth (1 draw, 1 loss), captain of the defunct New Cricketmxian's team, if the going gets tough.

CricketMX.com Orange ("Orange") will be captained by national team captain, battye.

Leon, vinhkhoi and the docs mum make up an inexperienced top order, however, the docs mum has had a lot of success at First Class (3 centuries) and Test (2 centuries) level. In her only limited overs appearance, a Twenty20 for the New Cricketmxian's, she made a duck.

battye, grinch2171 and wanabe appear to be a strong middle order, with ODI averages of 48.00, 48.50 and 46.00 respectively.

StorbinC, who has been behind krb107 for the position of wicket keeper for CricketMX.com despite better performances, will keep for Orange.

Burian, who has struggled at both ODI and Test level, but has excelled at domestic level for the New Cricketmxian's, will be Orange's sole spinner. BONGOMAN, ODI and Test cricket's leading wicket taker, will be a welcome addition to the team, while Red XIII, who hasn't taken to the field in over 6 months, and frogster, on her simulation cricket debut, will make up the rest of the bowling attack.

Orange goes into the season with a very slight advantage, according to the Simulation Cricket Betting Agency. This may be due to the presence of key players, such as battye, grinch2171 and BONGOMAN.
