A strange match with many twists and turns, that was very ugly at times, was the 3rd and final Test match between BalladP2P.com and CricketMX.com

After winning the toss, and sending CricketMX.com in to bat, BalladP2P.com's choice paid off immediately, taking four wickets for nine runs, in the first five overs.

In her debut Test innings, the docs mum was the first to go, having put just 3 runs on the board in as many balls. garmabeaneth was next, falling for only 1, while Rat and battye followed, with 2 and 1 respectively.

Thrown into the deep end, moongirl and grinch2171 had to not only see out the new ball, but also build a partnership to save the team from 4/9.

grinch2171 fell after only 10 balls, the most faced by any of the CricketMX.com batsmen, while StorbinC and BONGOMAN both fell for single figures as well. With the team at 6/29 after 15 overs, it was up to moongirl, the batsman recalled for the Test series, and Burian, who hasn't had much luck in the simulation cricket arena, since the CricketMX.com domestic competition in January.

moongirl made a respectible score of 41 (84), which saved the team from an even more embarrassing total. Burian was the other batsman to make it to double figures, with 20.

tunebud got out for a duck, leaving Freezmizer on 1 not out. After just 34.1 overs, the team was all out for 82; the lowest ever score in any form of simulation cricket.

MikeyBen and Huntermp3 were the pick of the bowlers, with 3 each. Penny_ on debut, took 2, while Hmmm took 1, and thewizeard, formally known as Imagine_If, took a wicket with his first ball.

Technical difficulties, on top of bad weather caused play to stop for the day, the best news CricketMX.com could hope for, after being severely beaten in their 34 and a bit overs.

Some wondered if there was a problem with the pitch, when BalladP2P.com's top order suffered from what battye called the 'CricketMX.com top order syndrome'. TheMadHeffer420, Leon and -Huize- fell in consecutive overs, leaving BalladP2P.com on 3/15 after 5 overs.

A hard earned 69 by thewizeard saved the team from humiliation, but it was ZandPilooT's unbeaten 95 which showed the team's class. thewizeard decided to leave the match up for grabs, in a shock decision, and declared at 5/183, disallowing ZandPilooT to score his maiden Test century.

CricketMX.com's second innings was a little nicer. From the word go, the docs mum was dominant, but losing garmabeaneth, Rat, grinch2171 and battye to low scores hurt the team early on.

moongirl again came to the teams rescue, justifying her spot in the team with 38. StorbinC also chipped in, with 48, but it was the docs mum, still out there, that was causing the bowlers the most damage. Centuries are not uncommon for the docs mum, after making a man of the match deserving 180 in the first class tour match against BalladP2P.com. But in the 73rd over, StorbinC was at the other end, when the simulation cricket world witnessed one of the finest Test century's we are likely to see.

When StorbinC departed, BONGOMAN stuck around at struck 19. Both Burian and tunebud made 4, and Freezmizer allowed the tail to wag with 15. the docs mum survived the entire 124.4 over innings, and remained unbeaten on 167, the highest individual Test score to date.

Hmmm's 4/58 proved crucial, as was Huntermp3's 3/66. But in the end, it was MikeyBen and Penny_ who let the team down, with expensive bowling. CricketMX.com cruised to a total of 10/346, setting BalladP2P.com 246 for victory.

A solid start from the thewizeard, put BalladP2P.com in the dominating position. But other than him, the top and middle order crashed. It was only MikeyBen's 26 not out in the lower order which game the team total any type of respectability. Eventually, BalladP2P.com were all out for 155 after 59.2 overs. tunebud and Freezmizer were the cream of the CricketMX.com bowlers, with 4/30 and 3/39 respectively. Single wickets to BONGOMAN, Burian, and part timer moongirl, ensured the teams victory.

CricketMX.com won a game, that they should have lost considering their first innings score, by 91 runs. In that, they also win the Test series 2-1.
